Terms of Service

These terms apply to Rentfully, the rental operations software available at app.rentfully.io. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

Rentfully is software for running a rental business: quotes, bookings, customer records, inventory, pick lists, and invoicing. We are actively building it, so features change and new ones appear. We may add, change, or remove functionality over time.

Your account

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us at sign-up.
  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for what happens under your account, including the actions of users you invite.
  • You must be old enough to enter a contract in your jurisdiction.

Your data

The bookings, customers, inventory, and documents you put into Rentfully remain yours. We process them to run the service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having the right to upload the data you put in, including any personal data about your own customers, and for using it lawfully.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use the service to break the law or infringe anyone's rights.
  • Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service, other accounts, or the infrastructure it runs on.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt or degrade the service for other users, for example through automated load that is not part of normal use.

Payments

Paid plans start with a 14-day free trial. Where a paid plan applies, fees, billing period, and what is included are the ones shown to you when you subscribe. Card payments taken through the product are processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers. Taxes may apply on top of listed prices.

Availability

We work to keep Rentfully available and to protect your data, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service, and we do not offer a contractual uptime guarantee at this stage. Planned maintenance and unplanned outages can happen. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.

Ending your use

You can stop using Rentfully at any time and ask us to close your account by emailing support@rentfully.io. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that we are required to close by law, or that goes unpaid on a paid plan. Before an account is closed you can ask us for an export of your data.

Liability

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, or data arising from your use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product and the business develop. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. If a change is significant we will tell account holders by email before it takes effect.
